Terms of Use

Ritual is operated by William Ryan. These Terms cover your use of Ritual. For questions, contact support@salvo.digital. See the Privacy Policy for information about data and the Support page for help.

You may use Ritual for your own lawful habit practice, reflections, reviews, and experiments, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Do not use the app to infringe another person’s rights or interfere with its operation.

You retain ownership of the content you create or import. Your habit content is stored on-device; these Terms do not transfer ownership of it to William Ryan. You are responsible for the content you enter and for protecting your device and any exported backups.

Apple’s standard End User License Agreement serves as the app’s license agreement for its App Store distribution. These Terms describe the app’s use and features and do not override mandatory rights under applicable law.

Ritual’s core practice, basic progress views, reminders, reflections, weekly reviews, one active experiment, individual historical records, and backup controls are free. Free features include:

• Creating and editing rituals, including cues, smallest versions, and optional habit-design supports.
• Recording Full or Smallest practice and undoing entries.
• Local reminders, reflections, weekly reviews, and one active seven-day experiment at a time.
• Basic progress charts with Week, Month, and Year views, plus streaks and milestones. Year views remain free.
• Viewing individual historical reviews and experiment results.
• Exporting and importing backups, local recovery, and deletion controls.

Ritual Premium is not currently available to purchase. Planned Premium tools are not included in the current app and are not guaranteed by these Terms. Available subscription benefits will be described before purchase when Premium launches.

The planned scope is deeper habit-by-habit comparisons over 90-day and year-long dated periods, with separate Full and Smallest counts and clearly marked partial history, plus a searchable experiment archive organized by ritual, adjustment, and your recorded assessment, using saved baselines and results.

These are plans, not delivered features or a promise of availability. Premium is not simply access to a yearly progress chart.

For a future paid launch, the selected US prices are $3.99 per month and $29.99 per year, with no trial. Apple’s localized checkout price and the terms displayed before purchase govern. No billing is active today.

When available, monthly subscriptions would bill each month and yearly subscriptions each year through Apple. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before renewal in accordance with Apple’s purchase terms. Manage or cancel them in Apple subscription settings.

Cancellation stops future renewal; paid access ordinarily continues until the end of the paid billing period, subject to Apple’s rules for refunds or revoked purchases. After a subscription expires, all free features and individual historical records remain accessible; subscription-only tools will no longer be available.

Deleting Ritual does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests; submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable consumer law.

Ritual is a habit tool, not a medical service, diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for advice from a qualified health professional. Habit or wellbeing outcomes are not guaranteed.

Ritual currently has no accounts or cloud sync. Keep backups of content you want to preserve. Exports contain private content and are not encrypted by Ritual. Importing, recovering, resetting data, or removing the app may affect your local content; read the app’s warnings before continuing.

Deleting local data does not delete exported files or existing device backups. Manage those separately through the services or locations where you keep them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law. These Terms do not impose a mandatory arbitration agreement or an exclusive court jurisdiction.
